Intrigued by his online persona and claims of spiritual abilities, she subsequently made an appointment to meet him in Bargny to receive prayers. This meeting was intended for spiritual consultation, as Diantal Mara was known for his role as a marabout.
According to S Gaye's detailed account, Diantal Mara then took her to the Diamniadio forest, claiming it was for the purpose of performing mystical baths. It was during this isolated encounter that S Gaye alleged Diantal Mara attempted to have sex with her. When she unequivocally refused his advances, he reportedly brandished a knife and threatened to kill her, escalating the terrifying situation. S Gaye claims she sustained injuries during this confrontation, which resulted in a six-day work incapacity certificate, a testament to the physical and psychological trauma she endured. Diantal Mara also allegedly acknowledged the incident involving S Gaye in the Diamniadio forest during his interrogation, claiming he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the alleged assault.

B Diallo accused the marabout of sexually abusing her daughter under the guise of traditional healing practices. This alleged abuse, presented as a spiritual remedy, took a horrific turn when a pregnancy was subsequently discovered. Diantal Mara reportedly admitted to investigators that he had sexual relations with the young woman while her mother was away, confirming a key aspect of the second complaint.
